Hello. Nice of you to join me, today.
You might be here wondering how to make the most of your character sheet. There are so many different ways to make it, that it can be a little overwhelming. Well, don't get complicated is the solution. We may like things that are pretty, but if you can't handle the codes, don't waste your time beautifying your profile til no end.
Here is a little guide on how to fill out each segment of the Bio, no matter how simple each area may seem. The slightest touches will add the greatest effects.
Hopefully, your problems with the Bio, by now, have been solved!
Thanks for joining me. Good luck!
[name][/size]
The name. This is your character's backbone. It tells us a little bit of who you are, and sets the road ahead for you. This is one thing you can not change (unless through marriage). You may want to take some time to think about the name, whether it has a special meaning appropriate for your character, or is unique in its own way. The name can be as simple as Bill White (though I don't recommend it) or Takasugi Shinsaku, Legend of the Crown (though that one isn't recommended either!). In other words, be original. If someone else shares your name, you might reconsider choosing it, or at least provide a different last name (lest they be related). But, try not to make the name Japanese or Japanese-sounding, even though your character is clearly not Japanese. You also want to avoid making it your name, a variation of your name, nickname, or any name that has been applied to you. (A little conceited, aren't we?)
[age]
Your character's age. Let's think about this for a minute: in Pokemon, it is widely accepted that age 10 is the norm for trainers to start out as. Therefore, that would be an appropriate minimum for your character's age. (You can always go lower if you must.) But if you're planning to go through "relationships", it's recommended that you keep it above 13 years old. (For the obvious reasons~) There's no maximum age limit, though you won't want to be making an 87 year old anytime soon. 10-30 is a good age range to consider.
[gender]
Female or Male, you must be thinking. Of course that's what the bulk of you will choose between, but feel free to go outside of the box. You can also choose to be androgynous, transgendered, transsexual, a cross-dresser, the list goes on and on.
[race]
As much as you're tempted to put "vampire" or "quincy", sorry. This is not Twilight, nor is it Bleach. Choose between Human, Pokemorph, and Pokeshifter. You can see what each one is here.
[hometown]
This one isn't that hard. Pick from the towns shown in this region (i.e. Chyral City or Grask Town) or put 'traveler' or 'lived in the country'. You could also put a town from the old regions, such as Johto's New Bark Town or Kanto's Celadon City. Just make sure to include in your history or here that at some point, you moved to the Anoosta Region.
[Class]
This one may be complicated. Pick from the list here. This will help the moderators decide what will happen to your character. More classes may come later.

[description]
This is one of my personal favorites of the Bio. (Shallow, I know.) Here, you must provide a juicy description of what your character looks like. That includes facial features, hair, height, weight, clothing, accessories, body, and anything else you wish to add regarding appearance. You can also provide a picture; either a URL or IMG and put it here or at the top of your Bio. But even if you give us a picture, you must provide at least 1 paragraph of description. (That's 5-10 good sentences, people! Don't get skimpy! We want to be able to imagine your character. Especially if they happen to be as good looking as mine~) P.S., if you're going to use a character from an anime/manga, then please notify us so we can add it to the Face Claims section.
[personality]
This is probably a harder component of the Bio. You have to write about how your character thinks and acts. Listing adjectives that describe them often helps (but don't just put a list here!). Get creative. Put little things that they do, like do they twiddle their thumbs when they nervous? Or do they always chew gum? Anything, and give a reason why. Habits, Hobbies, Turn-ons, Turn-offs, Fears, etc. Of course, your character's personality will develop over time, so don't spend hours making this part unless you want to keep your character static (unchanging).
[background]
This is probably some people's most hated part of the Bio. This is where you spill out the history.... dun dun dun!!! *Lightning strikes as a man laughs maniacally into the dark and stormy night* Ahem, just kidding. It's not so bad. Just talk about when your character was born, their family, how they grew up, if they went to school, traveled, relatives died, achieved something great, won some award, made a great friend, got a good job, marriage, divorce, anything! There's so much to put here. Try not to be a Mary Sue and have some tragic past in which you were living happily ever after until some villain came along and killed both your parents for no apparent reason, thus leaving you an orphan bent on revenge. (C'mon now. Sasuke Complex, much?)

[other]
Anything else you wish to add, put it here. Miscellaneous information, such as Likes, Dislikes, Sexual Orientation/Preference, Quotes, Motto's, Favorite Color, Birthstone, Birthday, Allergies, Deep Dark Secrets, Strengths & Weaknesses, Workout Routine, Dieting Regiment, you get the damn point.
[dreams]
What are your hopes and aspirations? Does your character wish to achieve something over time? Of course they do, damnit. Whether they want to be the World's Greatest Pokemon Trainer, or Gotta Catch 'Em All, put something. (Don't be a lazy lump!)
[fav. type of pokemon]
Simple. Bug, Dark, Dragon, Electric, Fighting, Fire, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Ground, Ice, Normal, Poison, Psychic, Rock, Steel, Water.
[least fav. type of pokemon]
Must I repeat myself?
[fav. Pokemon]
As mentioned before, just pick your favorite Pokemon from either Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh. Need help looking for one? www.Serebii.net is the answer. ;]
Hopefully, your problems with the Bio, by now, have been solved!
Thanks for joining me. Good luck!
