Kairi walked out onto Route 1. She checked her Pokedex. It seemed the only water Pokemon that could be found here were a Magikarp and a Water Bokog. She had no clue what a Bokog was but she heard there were different elements of the Pokemon on this Route. She looked at a picture of it in her Pokedex. It kinda reminded her of a Porygon.
Kairi continued on. She'd have to be very careful on this Route. She'd heard that an evil group of people called Team Carg were jumping trainers on this Route and stealing there Pokemon,"If I notice anything that doesn't look right I better stay away from it. But just in case, go Staryu!" She said sending it out.
"Ok, Staryu if we run into any Team Carg members you'll take care of them right?" Kairi asked it. "Ha!" Staryu said shooting water up into the air. The two then continued on. Staryu looked out for any trouble that might come there way.
The two then stopped for lunch. Kairi let Spheal out of his PokeBall and they all had some lunch. Spheal gobbled his food down right away and went to sleep. Kairi kinda giggled at this a little bit.
Kairi had decided to have her lunch next to the water just in case any Magikarp or Water Bokog decided to show up. The water would be the most likely place to find them.
After Kairi had lunch and her Pokemon were done she recalled Spheal,"Ok Staryu dive into the water and see if you can find a Magikarp or a Water Bokog ok," she told it. "Ha!" Staryu said diving under the water. Kairi once again waited to see what would appear. She pulled out a bottle of juice and drank it while she waited. |

From beneath the water is a slight shimmer, that of something that is reflecting light. It is slightly tangled in a few underwater plants.
Will you investigate?

Kairi figured she'd better not. It could be a trap set by Team Carg,"Staryu, come back up here. I think that may be a trap set by Team Carg. And I don't feel like dealing with them right now," Kairi told it. But Staryu was attached by the bright light. It started swimming towards it ingoring Kairi's orders,"No! Staryu! Come back! Don't go there! It's a trap!" Kairi panicked. She put her head in her hands. She couldn't bear to see her Staryu falling into a trap. |

As Staryu approaches it, it becomes clear what it is. Something could be inside of it...
It's a bag with a reflector on it. Will you take it?

"What is this?" Kairi wonders as her Staryu swims back up and hands it to her. She looks at the reflector. It seems to be safe enough. So Kairi puts it in her bag,"Don't ever scar me like that again Staryu," she told her Pokemon. "Ha!" Staryu said telling her it was sorry it scared her. Kairi then sent her Pokemon back under the water to seach somemore for a Pokemon, or a Pokemon egg. "I already have one egg though I don't need two of them," Kairi decided. |

(OOC: That's Magikarp right?) Kairi figured she'd better get whatever it was out of her bag before it broke her egg. "Get out of there!" She said pulling out something by it's tail fin,"What is this!" Kairi said droping the fish like Pokemon to the ground. Staryu just looked at the fish flopping on the ground. |

The orange goldfish Pokemon flopped on the ground helplessly, staring at the human and Pokemon beside him. Why did they disturb his resting place?
The Pokemon was tiny, but a Magikarp all the same. In fact, he wasn't even half as big as the Staryu!
"Magi!" he choked out while he flopped around, trying to jump back into the water. However, as he slapped his tail on the ground, he did just the opposite; the fish catapulted himself backwards, soaring in the air right towards the human girl's head. Not what he wanted, but maybe she would throw him back in...?
A Magikarp has appeared! What will you do?

It hit Kairi in the face knocking her over,"Ah!" Kairi screamed painfully,"That's ok. I know it wasn't your fault Magikarp. I'll put you back in the water ok. Then can we have ourselves a little battle with you? I'd love to battle such a nice Pokemon as you," she grinned at it. She then placed the Magikarp back into the water. Would it accept her challenge or not? |

The Magikarp just wanted to get back in the water. He didn't care what they wanted, he just wanted to breathe right again.
As he was submerged in the water, he looked back up at them before swimming around in the little pond, wondering what it was they wanted... He had been too distracted with trying to get away to understand. Oh well, whatever it was, he didn't mind.
The Magikarp accepts your challenge, whether he means to or not.

"Ok now would be a good time to test my new Pokemon. Go Spheal!" Kairi called sending Spheal out,"Spheal!" He said appearing in a flash of light,"Use Powder Snow Spheal!" Kairi called. "Spheal!" Spheal screamed shooting out the attack at Magikarp. |

The Magikarp watched from beneath the water as the strange human tossed a ball out. From it, came a Pokemon that he had never seen before; it must not be from around this area. But for whatever reason, the water suddenly felt a lot colder. He swam away from the cold spot, but it only got colder and colder. It wasn't winter, was it? The water was never quite so cold... unless the Pokemon from above was doing it?
He swam up and poked his head above water to see, and sure enough the little round Pokemon had just finished an attack. The fish turned and splashed his fins around, using Splash as an attempt to scare it away. The odds were definitely against him.

"Uh, use Powder Snow again, Spheal," Kairi said. Her plan was to freeze Magikarp in an ice cube so she could catch it. Spheal released Powder Snow again at the Magikarp. Kairi hoped this would freeze it into an ice cube so she could catch it. |

The air around the Magikarp got colder and colder, and eventually he stopped splashing his fins around. He merely swam away a bit... before the air got too cold, and eventually he stopped swimming. Even if he could live in polluted waters and the like, he couldn't stand the cold.
The Magikarp has been semi-frozen. He cannot move.

Kairi noticed the Magikarp was frozen some and couldn't move,"Now's my chance!" She said. Kairi took out a PokeBall and threw it at the frozen Magikarp hoping to catch it. |

With roll of his eyes, the Magikarp noticed a ball coming towards him. It was the same kind that the other Pokemon came out of...
With a flash of light red light, the fish was engulfed in the ball's core.

Spheal went and got the PokeBall from the middle of the water and handed it to Kairi,"Thanks Spheal," Kairi said putting Magikarp's PokeBall up. She couldn't wait for it to evolve into a mighty Gyarados. She recalled Spheal into it's PokeBall and decided to look for one more water Pokemon. See the plan was she wanted her first six to be water types. |

Kairi recalled her Staryu and decided to be sneaky about seeing what it was. She clured though a bush, and peaked out from a bush to see what was there. So that whatever was there wouldn't spot her. When Kairi looked she saw..... |

From behind the bush was a small Zigzagoon, digging in a pile of leaves. The leaves reveal something shiny as they are brushed away.
Will you investigate?
From within the bag is a slight cracking, and then a few small chirps.
