Vivian closed her eyes briefly before opening them again. "so, we'll go through and go to Kotank Town for the first ribbon, right?" She asked her brother, only getting a grunt in return. The girl grunted back mockingly then giggled. She threw her Pokeball out. "Go, Abra!" Viv said as her Abra appeared. "Hey, Abra, I'm Vivian, you're new trainer" She said with a smile toward her new Pokemon. It was better to get acquainted then, than to meet while she's battling. The Abra gave a small, but happy squeak. The girl cocked her head to the side. "I think I'll call you... Kendra..." She said to her new Pokemon. The fox like Pokemon squeeked in delight then teleported toward her trainer. Smiling, Vivian looked at her small Pokemon.

Todd's eyes glazed over as he saw his sister and her Pokemon start to bond. Sure, that was what they were supposed to do, but his sister already seemed to have a small bond with her Pokemon. Sighing he took out his Pokeball tossing it lightly then catching it once the Pokemon came out. "Cyndequil!" The fire type exclaimed. Todd watched his Pokemon, actually showing interest in the determined fire mouse. "Do you mind the name Embry?" He asked the Pokemon. As it squealed happily at its new name he couldn't help but smiling for only a second. As he looked around the area he motioned for his sister and his new partner to follow him.

The girl watched as her brother started to lead the way. "Come on, Kendra," she said with delight as they made their way down the path looking at trees and grasses. Everything seemed very still, it seemed a little odd, seeing as usually these places were crawling with Pokemon.

As the couple made their way along another couple sat nicely together chattering. Their little purple and blue bodies waving back and forth as they spoke. "Ni, do. Ni ni ni. Ran!" Their little voices carried down the trail.

Two Nidoran appeared! What will you do?

Vivian's eyes showed great joy as they walked along the path. Along with her new partner, she was going to become a Pokemon Professor one day. Although, that may not have been soon, she made it her greatest dream and goal to do so. She had the determination, she just needed to learn how she could. The girl's eyes glazed over as she heard two Pokemon chattering. As she turned toward the sound she broke out into a big smile. There were two Nidoran just down the trail.

The girl's brother looked toward where the sound was coming from. He then smirked, Nidoran, though usually weak at the time, can become very strong. He had his sights set on the blue Nidoran. He looked at his fire mouse Pokemon then nodded toward it, signalling to get in front of him and ready for battle. "Quil, quil!" The Pokemon said in a hushed tone. "Embry, use Tackle on the female." The male trainer told his partner. The Cyndequil ran toward the blue pokemon attempting to tackle it.

Watching her brother carefully, the girl nodded taking her chance to go for the male Nidoran. She thought about the attacks her Abra knew. "Kendra, Teleport toward the male Nidoran then hit it with Knock Off!" Vivian Exclaimed. She saw her Pokemon start to teleport, and to her it was beautiful, as it appeared a few meters away the girl frowned then shook her head, knowing they would need to work on teleport. The girl sighed, "Fine, run toward the Nidoran, Kendra, but still use Knock Off." She told her pokemon. The fox-like pokemon started to run toward the pink Pokemon trying to hit it with the said attack.

She looked up a second to late as the fire type slammed into her side. "Ni!" She squeaked as she slammed into the ground. Pushing herself to her paws she shook herself and glared at the Cyndaquil and started growling. As she growled she moved forwards, stamping her feet and rearing up on her hind legs to make herself look bigger. Then when she was close she lashed out with a scratch attack.


He saw the fire type hit his mate and was shocked at the sudden attack. Angered he jumped to the side and charged towards the Abra. The Abra tried to use Knock off, but the pink pokemon was so angered he ducked right under the attack and used peck.

Todd smirked as the mouse like Pokemon hit the blue Pokemon. With the smirk still on his face, his eyes narrowed. That couldn't be the end of that Pokemon quite yet. The female Pokemon would probably still be able to attack, and if it wasn't, it was too weak for his team anyways. The mouse, not being too far away was hit by the scratch. Forcing a growl from his own throat the boy thought on his feet. "Embry, use Tackle again." The boy said somewhat calmly, watching his Pokemon get up steadily and start to charge at the opposing Pokemon..

Startled by the fact her attack didn't work, she started to account for the Nidoran's speed. "Teleport out of the way!" The girl exclaimed as she saw the pink Pokemon coming at her Abra. The yellow Pokemon did so appearing a few meters away, right behind the charging Nidoran. "Kendra, use Knock Off again!" She said seeing the right moment. "Breh, Bra" The young Abra replied with a nod, starting to bring its arm down on its opponent.

The blue pokemon reeled slightly backward as she was hit by Cyndaquil's tackle yet again. She growled furiously, her temper rising. She crouched low, preparing to leap at the fire pokemon. She dug her feet onto the ground and jumped, stretching her claws to scratch Embry's face.



Failing to notice where the Abra had gone, NidoranM looked around, not seeing the pokemon anywhere. Only too late did he realize the pokemon was behind him and was hit by the Abra's arm, falling to the ground. He shook his head, shoving the dirt away from his face. Oh, now he was angry!
He steadied himself, glaring at the Abra, using a very scary leer.
Then, he moved toward the pokemon, trying to peck him.
