Eclipse shoved his white locks behind his ear as he stared down to the poke ball in his hand. His blue eyes looked to be giving a soft look, but that was normal. His face, expressionless. A shinx eah? It’ll work. Stepping across the dirt path, he sighed, and pulled his black jacket off. Slinging it over his shoulder, he sighed, and pushed his fingers through his hair. The pokemon would become a luxray, and it would become stronger. But now the question… What to name it? Shade. That would work. Throwing his jacket to the side, Eclipse stood by the lake. There was a dock on the other side, but he wasn’t going to go over there just for that.
Pushing the poke ball forward, he let the shinx come from it’s ball. “Shade…” he said in his strong British ascent. “Are you ready to train?” the boy’s eyes gased into the pokemon’s, and it nodded. Quickly shifting into an Umbreon, he stared to the pokemon. “I was born ready.” Shade replied as it stood up strait. Lifting his chin high, shade gave a small smile. “Hit me with your best shot.” Eclipse smirked while readying himself for the blow. The shinx lunged forward, lowered it’s head for the impact, and missed. Eclipse moved out of the way.
Eclipse just stared down to Shade, and smirked. “Might need to actually hit your target.” The shinx sighed, and stood up. The two went on non stop for about an hour, and Shade finally hit Eclipse. Picking himself up from the ground, Eclipse nodded, and kept a strait face. No emotion whatsoever. ”Nice job. Do it again.” The shinx sighed, nodded, and attempted to use quick attack. With a blow to the side, Eclipse slammed against a tree. A small smile came to his face, and he nodded in approval. ”YES! Shade cheered while bouncing up and down. He pranced around in a circle, and stopped. With a yawn, the pokemon wandered over to the lake side to get a drink of water.
Eclipse dived intot eh water, and came to the surface. He swam over to the shallower part, and motioned for Shade to enter. The pokemon’s eyes darted from the water, to it’s owner. Poking the water with his paw, the shinx stepped in. The water, bone chilling. Most likely all training from Eclipse. Eclipse nodded, and splashed Shade. What was all this for? Well, it was so Shade would get used to water. Not necessarily be better against it in battle, but so the rain would not affect him.

'tap, tap tap tap'
The strange sound echoed out over the water as the trainer and his pokemon played around the water. If only they knew the water was empty, not many, if any, pokemon in it at all. Mud, wetness, cold. The three words basically described the water. But the water wasn't the only interesting thing on this single route. Over in the roundish tall green trees was a strange tapping noise that a Pokemon that cared at all would defiantly hear. Strange red, black, and brown feathers flicked from one branch to another, the large thoughtful eyes watching the pair. His gaze was fixated on the jacket.
'Spear...' Turning he hopped onto the ground and glared at the strange lump of fabric. He hopped forward, paused, looked to the couple. They hadn't noticed. If a bird could grin, he would. He jumped towards the jacket and clawed at it, his long talons picking at the strange object. What the heck is this? He thought as his beak prodded the fabric. He turned his penetrating gaze upon the Shinx as he held the jacket in his beak.
A Spearow appeared! What will you do?

Eclipse and Shade splashed at each other with a grin on both of their faces. A tapping noise caught Eclipse's attention. Perking his soaked ears, the boy paused. He padded out of the water, shook, and shifted back into his human form. The boy's eyes squinted as he scanned the landscape as Shade jumped out and shook. The pokemon looked up to his trainer, and tilted his head to the left. Eclipse shoed his soaked hair out of his eyes, and looked to the bird pokemon before him.
His eyes narrowed as he watched the sparrow picking at his jacket. With clenched teeth, the boy slowly spoke. "Shade.... Quick attack..... Now....." The boy glared forward to the spearow and sighed. The shinx perked it's ears, and looked tot eh other pokemon. In a flash, the pokemon was beginning his attack. His slick wet fur was slightly cooled as he ran towards the bird, jumped into the air, and lunged himself toward the spearow in an attempt to hit it.

The Spearow had been picking at the jacket, searching for food, or shiny objects, in the pockets. Believing that the ones you are robbing aren't watching isn't always a good way to survive. He flapped his wings a few times to pull the jacket through the grass, now adding dirt and dead grass to the jackets 'lovely coloring'. He looked up at the sound of pawsteps. "Spea!" <Ack!"> He shifted to the side but was hit in the tail by the quick attacking Shinx. Knocking him off balance. Angered now the Spearow flapped forward and into the air, turning he dived towards Shade using a head on peck attack.

Shade slammed against the bird as he came down from the air. The bird seemed to be knocked off balance momentarily, and this made eclipse smile. "Go ahed and lead you own battle Shade." The shinx smirked, and looked back tot eh sperrow. It was already in the middle of a peck attack. With widened eyes, the little electric pokemon jumped to the side, but his hip was hit strait on. quickly jumping up, he leaped behind the bird, and attempted to tackle him.

Eyes narrowed the Spearow folded up his wings and ducked lower in the air than the Shinx jumped, dodging the attack. Turning mid air the Spearow watched the Shinx sail through the air where he just hovered. Dropping onto the ground to rest his wings momentarily he used growl, attempting to lower his enemies attack.

The attack did not come to Shade, but he heard it. Quickly landing on the ground, the pokemon crouched down, and used quick attack. He was sure to stay strong, and to try to get approval from Eclipse. It was his goal, and he would do anything to reach it. Shaking his head, Eclipse watched the pokemon fight. Every aspect of his moves were watched. every step, sway, and fumble. It was all a matter of time before the fight was over, and he was curious of who would win.

"Spear!" <Fool!> The Spearow simply flew to the left and landed on the ground next to the shinx. He turned his face and narrowed his eyes, hopping towards the Shinx he used peck.

Shade skidded across the ground as he missed the bird. Quickly turning, he noticed the spearow was coming in for anther hit. Peck. Quickly shifting to the side, Shade went for a quick attack on the spearow's side. It looked to be a clear blow, but looks may be deceiving.

The spearow slammed his face into the ground before Shade Quick attacked it. He flopped onto the ground, wing bending back. "Spea!" <ow!> he cried out in pain and then fell to his other side, everything went black.
The Spearow has fainted, what will you do?

Shade paused as the spearow cried out. It’s wing had bended backwards. “Sorry.” the Shinx said with a small smile. He went up and nudges it, and noticed the pokemon was knocked out. Eclipse smirked, and walked over to the pokemon. He picked up his jacket, and stared down to the bird. “Foolish creature.” He said just below his breath. Turning to walk away, Shade pulled on his pant leg.
“What?” He asked while staring down to the shinx. “We can’t leave him here.” “Yes we can. It is as simple as walking away.” “but Eclipse.” With a slight hesitation, Eclipse sighed, and turned around. “Fine.” He sighed while picking up the bird. Wrapping it in the jacket, the two began to walk toward the lake side again. He took some f the larger leaves from some greens surrounding the lake, and wrapped te pokemon’s wing. Quickly tieing it off with some longer grass, he sighed, and made a bag like container out of his jacket. The boy placed the knocked out spearow in it, and tied it around himself.
The spearow was going to be released right after it awoke. He did not like many bird pokemon, and preferred to stick to cat and dog types. Watching as Shade pranced into the water, he sighed, and shoved his hands in his pockets. The boy was fine with just watching the Shinx play, but he did want to go into the water. Then again, if the bird awoke, he might run off with his jacket. And Eclipse can’t have that happen.

Eclipse stared out to the water before him as Shade played. Prancing, hoping, diving, the pokemon was having a blast. But there was something there. Something of the unordinary. Setting down the bird, and pulling on his jacket, the shifted into the Umbreon. He stepped into the water, and paused. Pulling himself into the water, and diving beneath, he paused. The shinx swam down next to him, and stared at it. What was it? Well, the little pokemon did not know. All he knew was that it was there, and Eclipse could pick it up.

As Eclipse set the Sparrow down it woke and made his escape.
The object was strange, and covered in sand. But as the two swam down the water stirred and swept the sand away. It sat there, oddly oval and bright blue.
You found an egg! It'll hatch June 6th

Eclipse stared at the blue egg. What could it possibly be doing there? In the water? A pokemon egg? This was indeed odd. The boy poked at the egg, and then pulled it out of the sand with his front two paws. Shifting back into his human form, he pulled the egg to the surface, and floated there for a moment, just staring at the egg. Blue with orange dots... It looked like a mudkip egg. Strange.
Jetting out of the water, and changing into his Umbreon form, he shook after setting the egg on a soft plot of grass. While turning back into a human, he looked down to the egg. "Well, start bringing up your skill Shade. I need to take care of this." As the small pokemon nodded, he picked up the egg, and began to wrap it in his coat. The egg was concealed as he tied held the coat, and sighed. The pokemon jumped all around, and trained with his attacks. Eclipse just watched, and was sure to keep te egg warm.
The boy sat down on the water's edge as the sun began to go down. It left a reflection of orange, pink, and even purple on the water's surface. He would never admit it, but the boy loves to watch sun sets. They... Relaxed him. Relaxed him like nothing else could. He turned on some music from his pokedex, and sighed. it was follow you home by nickelback. It was rare, but a slight smile came to his lips. Yet, hardly noticeable to anyone but one who knows exactly what he looks like and would know the change in attitude. The mod in the air, around him it was usually the people don't notice. As if he were not there, or he was full of secrets. A mystery to man kind. but this, was that and a bit of a light mood.

Just behind the line of trees a strange noise started erupting. It was a scratching noise and the sound of footsteps.
But up in the grass was a strange digging noise.
Which will you investigate?

... There were two sounds, each coming from different directions. One, a digging noise in the field. the other, foot steps, and a scratching noise. With a sigh, Eclipse pointed to the grass, and Shade went to go check it out. he was not going to risk the egg. The little cat pokemon bounced in after the noise. Left, right, another right, and the pokemon approached the sound. Eclipse just watched from behind, ready to come when needed... If he was needed.

In the grass a large hole gaped, it looks like something was digging here!
In the coat something shifted. Then a cracking noise was heard. "to!" The baby peep called. Was the egg hatching?
The egg hatched! Congratz!

Shade looked into the hole, and tilted his head. Was there something there? Well, bye the looks of it, yes. There was. The pokemon pawed at the hole, and took a step back. Lying down, the little shinx just knew that the pokemon would eventually come out.
Eclipse sighed as he awaited the little pokemon to return... Then something moved in his coat. Looking down, he listened closely. A little... Peep? It seemed so. A small head peeked out of is coat as Eclipse stared down. It was a little totodile. That explained why the egg was in the water. With a small smile, and a humph, Eclipse pulled up the little pokemon, and looked to it. "Hey there little squirt." He spoke with a smaller voice. It was so cute! But he would never admit it. Pulling it back to his body, Eclipse sighed. It was cute, and it was just a baby, so the boy would keep it. Scratching it's head, Eclipse's face returned to the blank state it was in before.
