"Oh where, oh where has the little lab gone? Oh where, oh where can it be?" Kindle sing-songed, walking through the town. She'd thought she was going in the right direction, honestly, but maybe the lady had pointed in the other direction? The morph shrugged, and finally looked straight ahead.
Oh. There it was. Oops.
Kindle continued to make her way up to the building, admiring the landscaping. Carefully, in steps that showed she was just barely restraining herself, she walked up the steps. She waas finally getting a pokemon! She was going on an adventure like mama had always wanted.
And the first question? Whether she should knock or just walk in. The doors were clear glass (and what a wacky paint job that showed), but they weren't automatic or anything, so did that mean she should knock?
Knocking would be better. More polite, too, and it never hurt. Lightly, she tapped on the door. As it echoed, she winced. Okay, maybe that was too hard. She burst into giggles, tail wagging behind her. "Hiya! I'm here for a pokemon! Anybody here?" she called, just to make sure.

Kayle looked up from his clip board and towards the door. Just outside stood a younger looking girl. Pushing himself to his feet he walked over to the door and opened it, he ushered her inside. "Welcome! I'm Professor Kayle Braknar. What pokemon were you thinking of getting?"

Oh. Dang. What was it she was going to ask for again? It was a Cyndaquil... No it was a... Kindle's mind scrambled, trying to remember what pokemon she was going to ask for. The nice lady in town who'd given her directions had also told her what pokemon the lab had. It wasn't that long ago, so why couldn't she remember?
Oh, wait it was, "Houndour!"
Kindle blushed a bit at her exclamation. She really hadn't meant to say that aloud. "Um, I'm sorry, I was thinking of getting a Houndour," she said sheepishly, ears twitching nervously. Smooth move, genius, she thought to herself. He probably thought she had Turrets or something.

Kayle smiled and nodded then he let the door swing shut. He moved over to the pokeball table and snatched up a houndour. Turning he tossed the pokeball to Kindle. "There ya go."
You've obtained a Houndour!

Quickly, Kindle snatched the ball. In her hand, not in her mouth. She always hated it when people expected her to catch it in her mouth. She was a Growlithe morph, not a Growlithe. Even if she sometimes did have that little voice that told her to catch it in her mouth. But that was irrelevant.
"Thank you!" Kindle said, turning to walk out the door. Or, in this case, into the door.
"Ouch!" Kindle rubbed her head, opening the door this time. She really needed to watch where she was going, before she killed herself.
