she yelled out, impatient as ever. She tried to suppress her rudeness, yet the shout was far from polite. It was the best they’d get from her. Her hand clutched into a fist spastically, relaxed again, just to clutch again. It was a gesture that betrayed her inner anger, the never-seizing beast. They’d better give her a kitten quickly. She wasn’t afraid of using violence to get what she wanted, these muscles on her skinny body weren’t for show. What a shame it was. Apart from her underfed, street-toughened posture and hostile facial expression, she wasn’t bad-looking. If it weren’t for her anger against everything and everyone, she could’ve been so attractive. Cute, perhaps.Black things attracted light and therefore trapped warmth. It was a law of nature, dark things got hot easily. Exactly that unbendable rule was annoying the living hell out of Dare at the moment. She regretted her choice of clothing, wishing she could strip herself of her raven rank-top and pants. In fact, knowing her and her one-track mind ( It was all about her, her, and did I mention her? ), she might be insane enough to actually do so.
Huffing inelegantly, she arrived at the Pokémon lab of the town. Wait, town? The place wasn’t even worth of the title village! She’d never been in such a boring place before - it almost made her want to go back to Kanto. At least there, she could play with Rocket grunts and piss them off. That much was fun. Everything around here seemed too goody-two-shoes to her, it made her sick at the stomach.
Focus, she tried to maintain control and appear cool. Fighting the upcoming rage was becoming harder each second that passed. Who could blame her? She was hot, her hair felt like burning and she guessed she could melt any moment. The weather hadn’t been this awfully nice since she got here. It was still supposed so be chilly and cool. Why was the damned sun burning like this, attempting to fry her?! She inhaled, demanding calmth. It all had a purpose again. She’d been eyeing the lab for days now, just to see what she could she expect, and watched all kids that came out. To her great satisfaction, most were quite young, around the age of 14. That made it easier for her. Nobody could match her cunning, she found, and especially not some snot-nosed kids. Anyhow, they were uninteresting, apart from one. A kid had come out of the building yesterday, happily clutching to a Meowth. That seemed to be her signal.
She’d declined one of those critters years ago, when mother had offered her one. The conditions hadn’t appealed to her, she didn’t want to help anyone, and she especially disliked the idea of world domination. Now, she could get one kitty for free, so she would. Her love for Meowth and especially Persians seemed to have gotten worse with the years, the elegance of the creatures still fascinated her. She wanted one for herself. It had been a matter of jumping out of the tree what was her hide-out and walking that small distance.
The doors opened and she walked in, not bothering to look around. She simply didn’t care enough. ”Hey! I’m here for a Meowth. Mind to hurry up and spare us all some time?”
As if to prove that part, the raven-haired loner raised her voice again. ”Better make it quick! It is important.” she pronounced the last word as if she were speaking to a retard. Which she felt to be true. Professor or not, nobody was as smart as her, from her point of view. Or nearly as pretty, tough or perfect. You get the point.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
