Vivian giggled happily as her and her brother finally mad their way to Chyral City. It had been a somewhat short journey seeing as their parents drove them most of the way, at least until they couldn't stay on the road. The girl looked at her brother almost questioning if he knew the place to go, all he did was shrug. Though the two were twins and looked alike, they couldn't be more different. Vivian always tried to hide her ears and tail, but Todd didn't seem to care. She was always the more bubbly person of the two, but he was quiet almost mysterious to most people. He knew he had a strong impression upon people, but didn't care too much for lables.
The boy looked for a sign of any labs, his sister had already narrowed it down to two buildings. "So, which one do you think it is?" She asked her twin, giddy with excitement. He looked at the one that said 'Gym,' then he rolled his eyes. "Judging by the fact that that one says it's a gym I'm pretty sure that it's the one over there." The boy said cynically nodding his head into the direction of the large building just south of the Gym.
Todd's female companion couldn't wait. She ran toward the big building marveling it for about 6 seconds, then went to the door knocking rapidly. "Gosh, Todd, you're so slow" The girl said rolling her eyes as her brother slowly walked to the door. Her brother muttered a small 'whatever' and rolled his eyes waiting for someone to come out of the building.
It isn't like someone wouldn't hear her knocking. As the girl took her hand from the doorshe shifted her weight to each foot, probably trying to find somthing to look at so she wouldn' t get bored already. The boy sighed and rolled his eyes once again.

Inside a guy with fiery hair and a green glove flipped through papers and rearranged pokeballs. He then heard someone knock, sighing and dropping the papers onto his desk he turned and walked to the door. Opening it he ushered them in, "Welcome to the lab. What can I do for you?"

The fifteen year old girl smiled shyly at the man in front of her. "Sorry to bother you, sir, but we wanted to get our first pokemon." She said timidly. It was odd, she was outgoing around her brother and she is also outgoing around other people she knows well, but when it comes to people she doesn't know she's shy. It didn't matter to her though, at the time all she wanted was her first pokemon.
Todd rolled his eyes at his sister. Of course, she was going to become quiet as soon as someone came out. That's what bullying did to her. Himself, on the other hand, was quiet before the whole adventure. The boy nodded at what his sister said and waiter for the guy with the fiery hair to let them in or get a professor, or something.

Kayle smiled kindly at the shy girl and her brother. "Certaintly!" Turning he lead them over to the table full of pokeballs "The names of the pokemon are on the fronts of the pokeballs. Go on and pick out which one you want."

Staring at the Pokeballs, Vivian studied them curiously. She had never seen so many filled Pokeballs before in her life! She looked at the names of the Pokemon carefully and soon found herself picking one up that said "Abra" on it. She loved Psychic types, and there were no Ice or Ghost types so Abra was the only one she wanted. "I'll have this Abra, please" The girl said politely showing the professor the Pokeball, she then found herself smiling like a Persian. Her Pokemon journey had finally almost started.
Todd watched as his sister carefully chose her Pokemon. He, on the other hand had read about the Lab already did his research on the types of Pokemon given by each professor. At first, he wanted a Houndour, but the person who was giving them the Pokemon was probably Professor Kayle. He knew that by the fact there were no Houndour to be seen. Sighing, the boy reached for the Pokeball that said "Cyndaquil" then held it in his hand nodding to himself. "I'll have the Cyndaquil" The boy told the professor, nodding once again.

Kayle smiled and snatched up the pokeballs. Holding the correct ones out to the trainers he nodded to them "There ya go then, I'll do the paperwork and you can start your journey!" Turning away he picked up the clipboard from his desk and motioned towards the door. "Have fun."

Vivian smiled hugely as she looked at her new friend. She grinned at the Professor, "Thank you," she said in a rushed tone as she started making her way toward the door. She could already tell that her now unfolding adventure was going to be an interesting one.
Todd nodded in thanks toward the Professor then gave a small smirk. With his new Pokemon he was going to catch as many Pokemon as he could throughout the region. He wanted to be the greatest Pokemon trainer there was, and of course, he was just starting at square one. Sighing out a small thanks the boy turned around and started walking toward the door with his sister. They both made their way out and started to walk toward the first route, hopeful for their new Pokemon journey
