{{ What a f**king drag. I hate playing pretend. }}
My, oh my, this was like the smallest town Raleigh has ever been in! Back at home, the average population was, uh...well, it was way more than nine!
A faint rustling of grass could be heard as a lean young man walked through the town. 'What the hell? Where is everyone..?' the young man thought to himself as he slowed down his pace, looking in almost every direction possible to find a person. It's not that he really cared to be honest, he was just a little disappointed on his first impression of the new region. His head hung slightly lower than usual in disappointment; he didn't think he could go on much longer without encountering another human being! It was so lifeless -- then again, Raleigh failed to notice the time of day; early morning. Raleigh wasn't usually an early bird, but today wasn't any kind of normal day for Raleigh. He was looking for the Pokemon lab to get his first slave pokemon! Moments later, the sun made itself known as it rose over the horizon. Raleigh lifted one of his pale hands, shielding his eyes from the horrible morning sunshine. A few more steps before he stumbled over a short sign. Raleigh swiftly caught his balance before falling and stepped back. The sign read: "POKEMON LAB". He chuckled as if he could see what the future held for him and his soon-to-be pokemon.
Without another thought, he pranced into the lab, pushing ever-so-gently on the glass doors, amusing himself with the fingerprints he was leaving behind. Not clearly knowing what was behind those glass doors made Raleigh a little impatient for some reason. Even thought the glass doors were well..made of glass, it was still a little blurry from the outside; especially with the bright glare from the golden sun in the background.
The first steps he took through those doors raised his spirits as the thoughts of obtaining a new pokemon or as Raleigh would refer to it as his 'partner in crime'. The shine given off Raleigh's red jacket by the bright sun grew dim as the glass doors closed behind the young man. Looking around, Raleigh felt a little chill throughout his body at the sight of splattered colors around the interior walls along with the horrid colorful chairs that laid about. Disgusting.
A slight sign of disgust grew across Raleigh's face but was quickly drawn back into a pleasant look due to a sudden thought. The thought was regarding the respect he was about to show towards the Lab Professor. If Raleigh was rude, do you really think that he'd get a starter? No. So for the time being, he must put on a false first impression on the Professor in order to get just what he wants no matter how painful it would be. Raleigh gathered his thoughts and wiped away the cobwebs in his mind that surrounded the kindness within him. "Hello, Professor! Are you in here?" He called out. While he waited he made a daring move to sit down in one of the bright red chairs that rested beside one of the lime green tables. Being nice definitely wasn't Raleigh's personality traits, but when the time comes where he needs it, he does his best to pull it off. Hopefully things go well.

He had been in a back room off the view of the main lab. He was carrying a large cardboard box full of paperwork that was in need of desperate filing. He glared at the back of the box as he trucked along. Gruffly he set the box on his desk with a 'thump' then he turned away. He heard the voice at that moment. Whirling around he watched as a rather young man entered the room. He gave a kind smile and brushed his orange hair into place with his gloved hand. "Ah yes sir. I am here. Are you here for your starter?" Ah as starter. He glanced at the large box. It contained all of the forms that he filled out after giving people their starters. But he never filed them. How many have I given out now?
