The sun basked down heavily upon the beautiful Anoosta region. The sky was a beautiful blue with white puffy clouds dancing about. In the town of Chyral all was at peace; the quietness of the town was pure bliss. Yet then a soft tapping could be heard, which then evolved into a rapid stomping. Over the horizon a trail of dust could be seen being split into the air swiftly and upon further inspection showed a couple of Doduo's charging towards the town.

So it begins...

Tyler leaned back against the weight of the Doduo as they arrived in the center of Chyral town; Once they reached a halt he climbed slowly off of the Pokemon and patted it on the back twice. Looking over to his fellow rider he spoke in a smooth calming voice.

"Thanks for the ride; You can keep the bike. It's no good to me now anyways."

The other rider smiled kindly and nodded; tipping his hat.

"Thank you! And no problem, If you ever need a lift you know where to find me."

The rider turned to leave as Tyler was fastening his satchel around his body; Looking up he then called out.

"Oh! Wait! Do you know where the Pokemon lab is around here?" He asked curious and confused.

The rider pointed across the land to a white building that was decorated with a cooling blue roof.

"Right there is what your after sonny."

Tyler nodded; "Thanks." As the man and the two Doduo's sped out of sight Tyler sighed deeply; Brushing dust off of his Gengar hoodie and shorts. He turned to the building and slowly started to make his way over there. His fingers were trembling nervously as he reached the door. Raising his hand he clutched it into a fist and tapped is across the door three times in a single rhythm.

He stood patiently awaiting someone to answer but then the thought hit him like a brick to the skull; Wait... What if they arn't here!? What am I supposed to do then!? Tyler's nervousness began to get the best of him as his legs slowly started shaking and his thought about running after the rider asking to take him back.

Raising his fist again he tapped the door a bit louder and faster. "Um, Hello! Is anyone here? Hello!"

The awkward teenager began to panic feeling like the towns eyes were staring at the back of his head.

Oh god, Please answer!

Running a hand through his bright hair Kayle sighed a heavy sigh and shook his head. "No, none of this is right." Someone had messed up the shipments. Dropping the manila folder onto the desk with a 'thump' he flopped into the chair. Then a knock echoed out. Heaving a sigh Kayle stood and sauntered over to the door, he pulled it open and smiled kindly at the boy. "Evenin'. Please, come in." He waved his hand into the lab as he took a step away from the door, still holding its handle. "Here for your starter?"

Tyler felt his chest deflate almost immediately after Kayle had opened the door; A sigh of relief as he moved inside. He took in the building and smiled a very calming smile.

"Hmm; Place isn't half bad."

The teenager widened his eyes and looked confused but then shook his head and chuckled lightly.

"Oh! Yeah. Sorry I'm just a little out of it with all the traveling and stuff. But yes, A starter pokemon is exactly what I'm here for."

His soft brown eyes lite up at he thought of the Pokemon he could receive. He awaited patiently for Kayle to make the next move. He didn't want to seem to eager on his first meeting with this person.

He brushed at the front of his shirt where little paper fringies clung. They fluttered to the floor and followed the rush of air as Kayle gently shut the door. He walked past Tyler and smiled, "Well I try to keep things interesting." With his gloved hand he pulled out a small little paper with a checklist on it. "So what pokemon do you want?" He handed Tyler a list of the pokemon they had in stock then turned and walked over to the poke ball table waiting for Tyler to answer.

Tyler chuckled again at Kayle's words. As the list was handed to him he began to scan over it rather quickly as if he was looking for something in particular. His smile soon faded to a frown as he sighed and turned back to the beginning of the list and held it out to Kayle again.

"I was actually really hoping that you guys would have a Psyduck. But clearly you don't so..."

He then walked closer to the table and looked at all the pokeballs they fascinated him truly for some reason. He ran his finger over a few of them and likes the glossy feel that they gave. He then slowly nodded and looked back to Kayle.

"You look like someone who would know a thing or two about Pokemon. You pick one; Surprise me. But please, -please- no fire types."

Tyler then stepped back and leaned against the wall as he waited for Kayle to pick a Pokemon for him.

Kayle watched as Tyler ran over the list of pokemon, he signed and glanced towards the desk. He had a mess of papers to go through that would need to be done by the weekend. He shook his head and turned his gaze back to Tyler. "No, sorry no psyduck. Pick one?" He walked up to the table and started scanning the rows. "Well..." He reached forward and snatched up a grass type pokemon. He held it out to Tyler, "There ya go, these guys are pretty awesome. They are random, but trustworthy and loyal." He dropped the round pokeball into Tylers hand and nodded to him. "Have a fun time!" The pokeball was smooth and cool with a sticker 'TREECKO' across the front.
