Jayme walked into the land of a deserted city, or what looked like it. She only saw a few people walking and less passing through. She just put on a slight smile as she walked slowly, looking for the name of the place. Finally she walked a few steps to a sign that named the city "Chyral City". "Chyral City, ay? What kind of city looks like this?" she asked herself outloud. She shrugged her shoulders and kept a smile on her face. She looked at the map and the pokemon lab was just across from where she stood. Happily, she walked casually over to the doors, but it looked dark. Hmm, she wondered. Jayme knocked, trying not to be rude. "Excuse me, is anyone here?"

Kayle was filing away some of the papers from the storage room when the lights went out. Narrowing his eyes he sighed, why did the electric pokemon outback have to zap the box? Shaking his head he walked over to the storage room an unlocked the control panel. Flicking a switch painted yellow the lights flicked on just as a voice sounded out. Turning he stepped out of the closet and smiled, "Good day. Here for your starter?"

Her eyes squinted as she tried to see past the dark, but after the lights brightly shot on, she jumped back at the appearance of another human. Pushing open the door, she said smiling: "Hello. I am here for a starter." Jayme's eyes slowly motioned around the place she was standing in. What immediately caught her attention were the lime green tables. In a strange way, she found them fascinating. "I like what you've done to this place.." she said, looking about, not sure if this place was really this man's home or just the Pokemon lab of pokemon.

Kayle smiled and nodded towards the tables and around. "I try to make things interesting. Otherwise I would go crazy in here!" Turning he paced over to the table full of pokeballs. "Alright, so did you have a starter in mind?" I could always randomly pick, but hey never mind that!

"Yes, umm a Cyndaquil if you still have them.." Jayme said, acting as if she didn't sway away from the real reason she was here. At first she was deciding, in her mind, over Charmander and Cyndaquil but she didn't like standing there looking like she didn't know what she was doing. So with her Lucario instinct, she thought of the pokemon who she might be able to get along with easier and more quickly: Cyndaquil.

Kayle plucked the red and white ball out of the midst of the rest. Turning he handed Jayme the object. "There ya go." He said with a kind smile.

"Oh well, that was fast. Thank you!" she nodded, now holding cyndaquil in her hand. She turned around, as she placed the pokeball in her pocket of her long belted jacket. She walked patiently, opening up the door to exit. Jayme was just about set for her journey. Strangely, she obtained her items from someone or something mysterious, but either way she had them. That and her first pokemon. But she wasn't too fond of the bag these items were placed in. So, she set out to buy her own bag to placed her pokemon and items inside. 'Here we go again' Jayme silently sang as she walked out into the brand new world of pokemon.
