An average stretch of land in general. The trail is long, with a zig zag in the center, when you first enter route one you spot a sign. It simply reads 'route one' but the next sign is something of a riddle. 'To walk the walk you need to talk the talk and cut the cut'. Near the base of the route is a small lake you can fish or surf in, a small bridge travels to its center. A bright golden tree stands in its own clearing, if you have any honey you can slather its bark. Perhaps it will attract some rare wild pokemon?

Grass is precious in this small hillside town. Located just past the zigzagged route one is a small little dirt ridden town that goes by the name of Kotank. There are only three people that live her permanently, the rest live in small tents located near the entrance to the town. The tents range from pale green to dark red, each is a separate home, the only stable buildings here are the mart, pokemon center, and the battle trainer.
You must fight the battle trainer in order to get your first ribbon.

Still in dirt country Route 2 is quite short. Either enter and take a right, or a left, or if you have a surfing pokemon simply take the water route. Large wild grasses cover the corners of the route and water covers more than half the route, therefore more than half of the pokemon in this area are water type. The trail fades away once you are only a few steps onto the trail, the only definite trail is the entrance trail and the dock. Tall Pine trees, short bushes and purple flowers dot the region. The weeds and tall grasses cover the region, they are the prominent vegetation in the region. Large rocks in the lake cause giant road blocks if you are not paying attention, but these rocks are common sun bathing grounds for the pokemon.

Sitting not to far from the end of route two, the labeled route three comes into play. With trees lining its left side and grass covering the bottom route three is known for it’s greenness. Red and pink colored flowers cover the dirt trail, you must walk through them to get to the next town. A white picket fence runs along the bottom of the route, it blocks off the tall grass where the pokemon of the grass, ground, and flying types like to roam. In the top right hand corner is a mini ‘maze’ that is covered in tall grass. If you enter this ‘maze’ you can find a small little cottage, in this cottage you can find a person by the name of Kanel. He can trade you a pokemon for one of your pokemon. If he finds the trade to be fair.

It is a small town covered in tall grass, only about four people live here. Those people would run the gym, the mart, and the pokemon center. The fourth person is just a random lady that loves grass. This is where the second gym is located, she runs the flying type gym. She is a tough opponent if your pokemon isn’t talented in speed and defense. To get to the gym you must travel through some tall grass, there is a series of high bushes that block the gyms entrance. Enjoy the green grassy town, because your next few stops aren’t nearly as green.

This is your last tall grass stop for awhile. You can either travel through all of the tall grass and risk the chance of getting lost or you can follow the little clear trails and attempt to make it out of the tall grass planes. Flying type, grass types, ground types, phycic types, fighting types in this area. The field and route is huge, one of the largest routes. Grass, grass, and more grass. By the time you are out of here you will be tired of green.

Not to far from the once lush grasslands sit’s a meteor bombarded town, once known as Yomel City. Now knocked down to just around three homes, a pokemon center, shop, and gym the little city lost it’s beauty and is now known as a simple town. As you enter you must be careful to stick to the left or right side of the town, as in the center is several long rows of thick and slick mud. By stepping in these you risk the chance of either getting stuck or losing items. The deep craters that dot the landscape are all that is left behind of the meteors that killed this small town. In the bottom right hand corner is an old seemingly abandoned gym. However if you enter you would soon realize that all of the dark drapery and low lighting is just the apparel of the Ghost and Psychic gym. Overall this is a nice little town, if you can handle creepy people and ghostly pokemon.

There is no time to breathe a sigh of relief once you get to Route 5! This is known by many as a ‘dead route’. You can find pokemon here, strong ones, however they are very rare. Many a trainer that have survived this route have said the following. “The route is dangerous, known for ‘natural disasters’ and ‘lost items’” If you are lucky you may come across the few and rare pokemon that have discovered how to get out of the mud and survive on what little there is here. By venturing down this trail you could incur the following: the attack or discovery of a pokemon, the finding of an item or pokemon, the loss of an item or pokemon (rare), a natural disaster (quick sand, mud slide, etc.), or even the run in with a trainer fighting their way through the mud.

Just past the ‘dead route’ is a rather beautiful and inspiring place. Route 6 is covered in lush green grass and multi colored flowers. Water is found in the top and the bottom of the route, nice little places to wash up after the muddy Route 5. This is a place one can come to relax and smell the flowers, however if you feel like testing your luck you can go visit Miss Petal, the flower specialist. She is known for her lovely flowers and ‘fun’ games. By games she means place a bet and see if you win. Her games are simple, one: bet as much money as you want, pick heads or tails, flip a coin. If your side shows up then you get double your money! Two: guess that pokemon! Bet how much you want, pick a level, and hope you can guess it. She will describe a pokemon in little, medium, or great detail (depends on what you choose) if you guess correctly she could give you money or an item! Lastly, if you have one of the types of pokemon she wants she will give you an item or money for it, if you are willing to part with it of course.

Just beyond the flowery route sit’s a cute little town the flowers still dot the scene. Three little houses line the left side of the town as the store and the pokemon center stand alone in the center. However the gym sits alone to the top right of the town. The most interesting person here is one that sells and trades pokemon, he lives in the red roofed house. The gym in this town is known for the fighting and electric. The gym leader, Paldif, is aggressive and not very quiet, he likes to voice his feelings.

‘The mountain climb road’ as most call it. You start by venturing through some very tall grass past a beautiful lake. Just next to the lake sit’s a golden tree in which you can slather honey on it’s bark and hope to get some rare pokemon to venture your way. However that is the last of the green grass you will be seeing for awhile, the grass slowly fades to dirt then into snow. The mountain is cold, and known for random whiteouts. If you want to travel over the mountain you can stay outside and travel an adventure. Or if you are lazy you can go through the underground trail with less pokemon and a long boring walk. The latter is safer. But it’s your choice.

Finally life is in sight! However the trees are dead as well as the brush, but pokemon love these places. This town has four houses but a large population because of the local cabins. The pokemon center and shop are located at the top near the gym. The gym has a gym leader named Chantel, she is an ice and steel leader, she is nice and loving. However none of those things are as interesting as Korky, the name changer, bike seller, and maze constructor. He will change your pokemons name if you want it changed, sell you a bike if you want one and most of all you can enter his random mazes under his house. You can choose: ‘fire’, ‘water’, ‘electricity’, ‘plant’, ‘iron’, or ‘psychic’. The mazes are never the same. You will find random items in the maze and win something if you get through!

‘The ice trail’ as it is known as. You must travel down the icy slip and slide areas in order to get off of the route. However you must keep in mind this is now venturing downhill, do watch your speed! Many have slipped and hurt themselves as they made their way down the trail. Rocks will stop you if you keep sliding, or ledges, but no one wants to get hurt. Ice, steel, and rock pokemon are commonly found here. This trail will fly by if you decide to just slide and not enjoy yourself, but you can get hurt that way. If you are looking for fun just slide and play, but keep in mind the wild pokemon!

Being one of the most populated and cold cities Freznek has five local houses and more in it’s outskirts. The houses are scattered around the town as the pokemon center and shop are located in the bottom center. The gym is located in a ‘sea of ice’ to the top right, you have to slide around to get to it! Crawl if you have to. The gym leaders name is Marty, he is a steel trainer. The outskirts of the town are filled with rocks and dead grasses, but the pokemon enjoy hiding there, pokemon are even known for wandering into town.

Remember that dangerous route, route 5? Well this one is almost the same, however half of the mud that used to be here is now frozen in sharp curls and edges. That is the most dangerous part of the route. The sharp edges can cut and injure you or your pokemon, however as you travel down the mountain the mud starts warming up but it is sticky and hard to get out of. At the bottom of the mountain the mud is song, squishy, and slippery. You can loose a lot of things in here, and it is rare to find a pokemon, but you could find ice, rock, ground, dark, and ghost.

A dirt and sand town really, but defiantly warm. Along the left side and bottom right corner a series of six houses dot the scene. The Pokemon center and shop are situated at the top right side of the town. At the bottom of the town is a small little water area, this is just the beginning of the water on Anoosta. The gym is in the center of the city, the leader is Jasmine, she is a water trainer. The town is beautiful and known for the long and short grasses just outside it’s borders, it is also known for the calm water at its bottom.

Route ten is an all water route. There is a house at the top of the route that you can buy TMs and HMs from. The woman insides name is Katlyn, she is expensive but it could be worth it! The route has a narrow trail that meanders its way down the length of the route, however if you want to visit and explore the waters, rocks and islands to search for rare items in the sands or pokemon you better know surf! A small island full of flowers sits in the middle of the route that calm and stranded grass types like to relax.

An ocean side city complete with only two houses. To find anything interesting one would have to venture out in the water or the sands above this town. The pokemon center and shop sits at the top and the bottom of the town. The gym sits by its self in the bottom left corner of the town, the gym leader is Kyle a fire gym leader. The only reason he is the fire gym leader in a water town is so that he can work with his pokemon in the ‘dangerous water environment’.

A boulder ridden, fast water filled route complete with a dangerous waterfall. If your pokemon knows waterfall then you can safely travel down the route, if they don’t you better be prepared to jump or climb. This is the dangerous, hot, desert region. Boulders block your way as rapid water cuts the route in two. If you can safely get down the waterfall or cliff then you have the chance to travel to the next and largest city before the elite four!

Sitting in a small little meadow with a small pool of water and a cute little flower field full of multi-colored flowers. A small little day care cottage sits in the center of the meadow. Inside there are trays of food and lines of soft fluffy beds. You can drop off your pokemon here to gain a few levels, or just to hang out with others. Keep in mind though, there is a cost to leaving your pokemon here!
